Our story began in the summer of 1931 with a group of passionate Christ followers holding tent meetings on Elliott Street. From those humble beginnings, we've grown into a vibrant faith community with multiple gatherings and hundreds of families coming together every week. Now, we stand at a pivotal moment in our history, ready to embark on a new exciting chapter we’re calling "ALL IN."

A VISION FOR GROWTH

LakePoint's reach and influence have never been stronger. We're experiencing incredible favour with our community, rapid growth in our Kids Ministry, and more unchurched people coming to faith than ever before. However, with this growth comes new challenges:

Our Kids Ministry classrooms are at capacity

Our parking lot and lobby are too small for our growing congregation

We lack dedicated space for our ministry to children with special needs

ALL IN FOR THE NEXT GENERATION

The momentum we're experiencing with young families is incredible, and we want it to continue. We're preparing to:

Renovate 11,000 square feet of our building

Redesign our family ministry space

Expand our leadership team

With only 2% of Canadian children possessing a biblical worldview, our mission is more critical than ever. We're committed to engaging the next generation, knowing that 85% of all people come to faith between ages 4 and 14.

ALL IN FOR OUR COMMUNITY

God has called us to become an irreplaceable part of Leamington. We’re preparing to:

Construct a new gym, lobby and community room (14,000 square feet)

Expand our parking lot by 52%

(87 additional spots)

Develop and deepen our partnerships in the community

ALL IN FOR OUR WORLD

God has called us to bring hope and healing to the least reached and most vulnerable. We will:

Deepen our strategic partnerships

around the globe

Expand the amount of Global Workers we support in the 10/40 Window

Mobilize every LakePointer to live on mission, thinking and giving globally

THE ALL IN INITIATIVE

Over the next 24 months, we're embarking on a church-wide giving initiative with three main focuses:

Next Generation: Renovating the north end of our building into a new family ministries facility

Community: Increasing our reach by constructing a new gymnasium, expanding our parking lot, and deepening our community partnerships.

World: Expanding the amount of Global Workers we support in the 10/40 Window, and mobilizing every LakePointer to live on mission, thinking and giving globally.
