Day 12
The Prayer of Doxology
A prayer of doxology is a short hymn or prayer of praise and worship directed toward God. The word "doxology" comes from the Greek word doxa, meaning "glory," and logos, meaning "word" or "speech." Therefore, a doxology is literally a "word of glory," an expression of adoration and glorification of God.
Take a moment to pray this Biblical Doxology:
Ephesians 3:20-21
“Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”
